Elevator Pitch |
Dave (Kick-Ass) wants to continue being a citizen superhero and is trained by Mindy (Hit Girl), but when she promises her guardian that she will give up all that stuff he finds himself alone, and so joins a group of citizen superheroes who have been inspired by his previous outings and publicity. All is well until the appearance of the former Red Mist as Motherfucker with a group of real villains. They need Hit Girl back. |
Content |
A bit of superhero boot camp, followed by citizen superhero action while Hit Girl is faced with the problems of being a teenage girl in college, including other teenage girls. Some quite dark action sequences which include people getting killed. A not quite rape scene and some implie sex. |
A View |
Most critics were quite negative about this outing, and we have to face it, it could not quite be Kick-Ass but it is a logical and pretty effective sequel. It did make money but is said not to have done the director’s career any good. I enjoyed it but it is probably necessary to see the first movie first. |
