Elevator Pitch
When a veteran fireman, who is a widow, runs into problems with his life insurance he sees the solution to be a gay marriage to his best friend. The problem is that the friend is a serial womanizer who falls for the attractive lawyer who is to represent them in court.
Content
A lot of gay jokes, including one scene where the firemen are showering, some anti-gay protests and at least one gay party. The attractive lawyer spends a lot of time in her underwear, as do some other young women during the exposition. But no actual nudity, drinking or drug taking.
A View
It was nominated in most “Worst” categories in the 2008 Razzies and was generally destroyed by the critics as giving a bad name to, well, everything; but apart from the gratuitous underwear scenes I thought it was not too bad and as usual with Adam Sandler movies, despite critical destruction, it made a lot of money.
