Elevator Pitch |
A shy, attractive young woman accidentally overhears some critical information about a cosmetic product, and is chased, and drowned after being sluiced into a river. But life is breathed into her by an Egyptian cat, and she gains many feline attributes, and with her new superpowers goes on the track of the evil company. |
Content |
The catperson scampers about on top of buildings wearing leather gear, occasionally whipping the villains (they don’t like it). Some set pieces with hand to hand combat, and a few pistol shots. A bit of romance and some implied sex, but no drugs, no drinking and no interest. |
A View |
Even Halle Berry in leather can’t keep this going. I think the whip was a serious mistake, what did that have to do with cats? And as usual I am concerned that the superhero’s costume does not provide enough protection – even from a cold night. It won in a number of Razzie categories, including Worst Picture and Worst Actress – she turned up to collect hers. Bad – but I kept thinking it could have been OK. |
