Elevator Pitch |
A group of personal injury lawyers take up a case for a township whose children are dying of leukemia , possibly as a result of contamination of the water table by a leather factory with conections to major corporations. As time passes it becomes their only case, and leads them towards financial ruin unless they can win. |
Content |
Time in the township taking statements and in the lawyers offices as their furniture is gradually removed and then in court and in meetings with the judge as the team battle for justice. No idea why it was a 15. |
A View |
This is an earnest offering providing an alternative courtroom drama where our sympathies lie with the plaintiffs but there is never any certainty that they will win. It cost a lot, probably the actor’s wages, and did not make its money back. Honestly not very entertaining. |
