Elevator Pitch |
After a one night stand with a moderately charming slob a TV presenter finds herself pregnant and decides to go ahead with the baby. She gets together with the potential father who tries to clean up his act, but they fall out as the day approaches. So who is going to stand by her? |
Content |
There is a lot of rude talk and much non-revelatory and not very convincing sex. There is a subplot which results in the father and the husband of the potential mother’s sister going to Las Vegas where there is nudity. A baby is born (not a surprise I don’t think). |
A View |
I have to start by saying that this offering garnered 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and made a vast amount of money. I had the misfortune to have watched the “extended version” and disliked and was bored by it alternately. Maybe it struck a chord with the American audience because that was where most of the money was made. |
