| Elevator Pitch |
A rogue CIA agent and the housekeeper of a CIA safe house in South Africa are forced to go on the run from a ruthless heavily armed gang intent on killing them both. As they travel across the country the young agent finds that the villains remain, unaccountably on their tail. Who can he trust and what do they want? |
| Content |
Numerous shoot outs in a variety of locations, with a high body count. Some hand to hand combat. Some car chases. Familiar scenes of the CIA operatives in their bunker with multiple information screens flagging stuff up. |
| A View |
It is difficult for screenwriters to overcome the problem of familiarity with this plot due to the Bourne franchise, and no matter what, we are going to make the comparison. Safe House does not compare too well. But if you enjoy shootouts it could be for you. |
