Brick Mansions (2014)

Released 2014 Rating PG-13
Director Camille Delamarre Writer/s Luc Besson
Starring Paul Walker, David Belle
Source of story A   remake of French film ´District B13
Elevator Pitch An undercover policeman in search of a dirty bomb, and a vigilante in search of his girl friend must band together to take on the drug gangs in Brick Mansions, a no-go area of Detroit, walled off from the rest of the city and guarded by the military. But is the city management on the outside really on their side?
Content Lots of martial arts, gunfire with a variety of weapons and car chases amid the derelict buildings of the area. But nothing else likely to cause offense.
A View I just can´t work it out, but this was even less liked than Shoot Em Up, although admittedly it was not great. Maybe the French version was better. This one was dedicated to Paul Walker, famous for Fast and Furious, who died in a car crash after making this. Just about bearable for Luc Besson fans.
