Lots of ships steaming about at high speed. Pitched battles between the warships and the alien craft with the use of sophisticated weaponry on both sides, with lots of explosions and sinkings, although no-one actually seems to get killed, except for some aliens. |

This film was totally panned by professional and amateur critics, but it made money. And honestly what’s not to like about a fleet steaming at full speed to the music of AC/DC. I thought the alien missiles were particularly good until I found out that they were modelled on the pegs in the game. Rihanna was OK, you’d have to see it to enjoy the irony. Liam Neeson could never make an Admiral. |
