A couple recently moved from Chicago to California accidentally meet a former fellow pupil from the husband’s school. The husband is striving for promotion in his new employment, the wife is attempting to remain stable after a miscarriage and the former school friend is intruding into their lives in a way that they could never have foreseen. |

Lots of talking and a little violence, some tension and things going bang in the night. Koi carp die. |
A View |
In the modern world which is a bit barren of cinema that pleases me I quite enjoyed this. I always appreciate a decent tribute to proper drama, which this is, and all is more or less revealed in act three. I have written some stories and usually make a joke of the name “Robyn” with a “Y”. Maybe the screenwriter was doing the same thing . |
