you're reading...

As time has passed I have gradually provided more means of searching the website. There is a box which allows you to search for a film, but of course there are at the time of writing only 950 films on the site, only a fraction of what is available.

If you are searching for a particular type of  film you can click on the “Categories” and there will be a drop down menu seen which will allow you to access a particular category. This is useful if you fancy watching a type of film and have a View on Demand system at your disposal. And it is worth pointing out that since these films span fifty odd years you can watch the older stuff for very little money, and some of it is excellent.

I have also added an alphabetical index which will show you everything on the site if you start at 1 and g through to Z.

And last there are over 1000 tags of directors and actors. I started off with a menu for them but there were just too many, but if you are looking at a post of a film you can click on any of the tags and all the films in which that actor or director is featured will be listed. You can also “search” for an actor if you like, and if he or she is tagged all their films on the site will appear.

I am continuing to watch movies frequently and am going to the cinema almost every weekend, and so everything I watch will continue to be featured here.

Happy viewing!

  1. Interesting ‘new’ career Victor.
I enjoyed the reviews – you have certainly given yourself much to do in retirement.

  2. Hi David, It’s fun, and good training, just in case I ever have the opportunity of pitching book in a lift.
