| Elevator Pitch |
A psychiatrist with problems is accidentally engaged to analyse a leading mobster. As a result things keep happening to prevent him getting married and he is gradually sucked into the gangster’s violent life as his command of the underworld scene in New York is challenged. |
| Content |
Scenes in the psychiatrist’s office, some weddings usually incompleted, generally smart dialogue, some violence with hand guns and machine guns. No nudity or sex. Just a bit of drinking. |
| A View |
This was a hit in 1999 and so there was a sequel, maybe at the top of Billy Crystal’s popularity. I know it’s suppose to be a comedy, but it may be because I am rewatching the stunning “Sopranos” that I did not find it all that funny, or it could be a bit dated. Generally inoffensive, so you could watch it while doing something else. |
