Elevator Pitch A secret service official recruits the Toretto team to recover a secret computer programme called “The Eye of God” which among other things will help them find a man attempting to kill them all in revenge for the harm done to his brother.
Content A number of set pieces involving cars, the first as they battle with an armoured convoy on a mountain road, then one requiring a car to leap between buildings in Abu Dhabi and then a chase through the streets of LA pursued by a missile carrying drone. Also some girl’s bums, but probably just for the trailer. They drink beer and swear a bit.
A View As usual most of the dramatic scenes went on for too long for me but obviously not for everybody else since it made an unfeasable amount of money and may still be the sixth highest grossing film of all time, and honestly despite the paper thin plot, it was not too bad. So maybe a watch if you like cars.
