| Elevator Pitch |
The inhabitants of the tiny desert town of Perfection are beseiged by a number of monsters capable of travelling at speed under the sand and surfacing to grab people. The only way out of the area has been blocked by a landslide, and so they must fall back on their own resources to survive. |
| Content |
The monsters pull the unwary under the ground, and most of the film involves people taking refuge on rocks or on rooftops. There is sustained gunfire as the survivalists take on the monsters. A young woman has to allow her pants to be pulled off to avoid being eaten! |
| A View |
I have seen this a few times and it is good fun. The name of the town says it all. While it was not a hit when it came out it has become a cult classic and a number of sequels have been produced, all straight to video. |
