| Content | Scenes in snowy exteriors and stainless steel interiors in Sweden. Some violence including the rape. Surprising amount of nudity and fairly explicit sex (considering the importance of the actors). Fairly complex expositions to provide the audience with the relationships between all the characters. Quite a lot of tension as the investigators get closer to the killer. | ||
| A View | Despite the amount of publicity the books have received I knew nothing about this story at all until I started watching it, and for the first 30 minutes it seemed pretty slow. Then it lit up and kept me gripped for the remaining two hours (it is a long film). Well worth your time if you come across it. | ||
