| Elevator Pitch |
When possibly the least attractive of a group of girls (nick-named pig-face) announces that she is to be married the other three get together for the hen party – while the boys take the groom out on the town in New York. The girls accidentally damage the wedding dress, and spent the night and morning before the marriage trying to right the wrong. |
| Content |
Quite a bit of bad behaviour by the girls and the boys, including a visit to a strip club, a male stripper, some drug taking and some sex – which looked very uncomfortable. Some bad language, but no actual nudity. |

It won the “Women Film Critic’s Circle” award for Hall of Shame. “Just stupid on so many levels” they said. Or maybe not stupid enough. Probably the play is about the relationship between the overweight but grounded woman, and the three attractive but troubled friends – but if so the film did not reflect this. It only cost $3,000,000 but still did not make its money back. |
