| Elevator Pitch |
A young computer programmer wins a competition to spend a week at the home of his reclusive billionaire boss. When he gets there he finds that he is to carry out the “Turing Test” on a robot whose persona is that of an attractive female. But what will happen to her if she fails the test? |
| Content |
Quite a bit of moderately complex discussion about robots and AI, while beer is being drunk. Interviews between the programmer and the robot. Some nudity – of women, or possibly robots. Some incredible scenary. A bit of violence. |
| A View |
Be prepared to have to watch and listen carefully. It is good stuff, if a little disconcerting at times. The billionaire is suitably unpleasant. It won many awards including an Oscar for visual effects and got a best ever score, I should think, on Rotten Tomatoes (Beaten by Kilo Two Bravo). Keep alert for the dance! |
