A ragged bunch of men women and children are crammed into the rear of a train which is belting along through the an icy landscape. They and people further forward in the train are the only survivors of a failed experiment to prevent global warming, which has frozen the world. They want to move forward closer to the engine, into apparently better living conditions. |
Content |
After mysterious interaction with representatives from further forward in the train there is a lot of violence, with edged weapons and firearms. Many people die both amongst those trying to move forward and those trying to stop them. |
A View |
I wanted to go and see this in the cinema, but did not make it, and so was pleased when it made it to our cable. It is one of the most unusual movies I have ever seen, and despite the apparent lunacy it does gradually make sense, if you stick it out. |
