In an increasingly lawless Gotham City a new force for law and order The Dark Knight emerges to take on the Joker, a grotesquely altered criminal who used his malevolent sense of humour to put the inhabitants at risk. |

Lots of great set pieces in the grim cityscape as Batman sets the wrongs to rights. |
| A View |
Despite later shots at the Batman franchise, the Tim Burton films are wonderful in their ability to capture the tone of the comics. I particularly like the Batmobile. Despite the more sophisticated later versions don’t miss this one. |
