| Elevator Pitch |
A blundering detective accidentally teams up with a kick-ass taxi driver in pursuit of a bunch of female bank robbers. He has problems with his boss who was once his girlfriend and she (the taxi driver) has problems with her boyfriend because she keeps missing his romantic arrangements. |
| Content |
A lot of car chases as the souped up taxi chases the robber’s BMW. Some time in the police station as the detective is lectured, told off, sacked, by his boss. Interaction with the detective’s mostly slightly drunk mother. Views of the robbers, said to be Brazilian models, in revealing clothing. |
| A View |
There is not quite enough in this outing to hold interest and I found my concentration drifting off except during the car chases. The robbers look good but that’s just not enough. Generally disliked by everybody, so given a choice maybe choose something else. The original is said to be much better. |
