| Elevator Pitch |
A diabolical mafia boss holds court every day in a restaurant that he owns, and under his nose his wife carries on an affair with a book shop proprietor in the kitchen and the lavatories with, in the end, distressing results. |
| Content |
This is a surreal production with the sets changing colour depending on the mood, and the ingredients piled up in the kitchen gradually deteriorating over time. Obviously there is sex! |
| A View |
This is a stunning film, with many in the cast who were to become more important later. These included Ian Dury as one of the crime boss’s lackeys. On my “must see” list. |
