||A boy is born in a stable next door to the one in which Jesus Christ is born, and as a consequence is mistaken for the Messiah and so follows a parallel path, coming up against the Romans, subversive elements and his own followers and eventually crucifiction.
||Loads of jokes about events similar to those described in the Bible. Some nudity, both male and female, but so inoffensive that I have included this in “Comedy – Family”.
||The Pythons made a number of films, but this is by far the best, and at the time they had fun debating the blasphemy in it, or not, with ernest religious people on TV. I have watched this many times, and always really enjoy it.
